Jubilee Roots: Biblical and Indigenous experience
The roots of a Jubilee economy are in nature and the Cosmos. By observing and respecting nature, our ancestral homo sapiens saw one-Earth economics and copied it. They continually refined how to live a one-Earth economy. The word “jubilee” was attached to it by the Hebrew people as they incorporated economics and religious devotions in the full creativity of their culture. But the roots of jubilee are Indigenous, and, even more accurately, in the evolutionary, continuing creativity of Earth and the Cosmos.
